亚庇篮总终于五十五岁了！故在2013 年6 月29 日这一天，在亚庇丹绒里拔客家礼堂举行「亚庇篮总创会55 周年庆典晚宴」。

当晚共筵开一百席，广邀国内各球会、赞助商、篮坛人仕及球员们参与其盛，逾一千人赴会。
也同时配合这项晚宴，在当晚举行了亚庇篮总第廿八届(2013/2014) 新届理事会宣誓就职典礼。
沙巴中华大会堂代总会长兼亚庇篮总永久名誉主席拿督斯里吴添泉局绅博士，受邀担任当晚主礼嘉宾，以及监誓人。
在当晚，身为沙华堂会员之一，亚庇篮总筵开了廿席，乃召待沙华堂代表们，也让来自全州各地的华社领袖们见证亚庇篮总的兴盛。
在入口处，也有安排展示了亚庇篮总过去所赢得的冠军奖杯，包括了成功“ 断杯” 的沙巴杯。
在“629” 晚宴上的仪式及节目，计有：第廿八届亚庇篮总理事会宣誓就职、剪彩仪式、亚庇篮总主席冯春发致欢迎词、主礼嘉宾 亚庇篮总永久名誉主席拿督吴添泉局绅博士致词、颁发委任状予名誉顾问、筹委会主席陈裕生致谢词、切蛋糕仪式。
当晚的序幕，是由冯春发主席率领另18 位理事一起宣誓就职，也是本地著名殷商的他再度蝉联主席，自2009 年已三度当选亚庇篮总主席。
在新届理事会当中，有5 位新人加入。
Kota Kinabalu Basketball Association (KKBA) has finally reached its 55th year! To mark this milestone, the “KKBA 55th Anniversary Celebration Gala” was held on June 29, 2013, at the Hakka Hall in Tanjung Lipat, Kota Kinabalu.
The grand banquet featured 100 tables and attracted over 1,000 attendees, including representatives from domestic basketball clubs, sponsors, prominent figures in the sports community, and athletes.
The evening also served as the official Swearing-in Ceremony for the 28th KKBA Executive Committee (2013/2014). Datuk Seri Panglima Dr. Goh Tian Chuan, JP, the Acting President of the Federation of Chinese Associations Sabah (FCAS) and Permanent Honorary Chairman of KKBA, was invited as the Guest of Honor and supervising officer for the installation.
As a member of FCAS, KKBA hosted 20 tables specifically for FCAS representatives, allowing Chinese community leaders from across the state to witness the prosperity and growth of the association. At the entrance, a display showcased the many championship trophies KKBA has won over the years, including the prestigious Sabah Cup.

当晚出席剪彩包括了沙巴篮总会会长潘志勇、永久名誉主席黄有联、永久名誉顾问卓权兴、法律顾问拿督于墨斋医生、法律顾问陈德明律师、前任主席苏仕汉、沙巴客联会长拿督谭育良、医药顾问华开策医生、医药顾问罗运梅医生、名誉顾问傅瑞昱、名誉顾问吴源瑞、名誉顾问李福炎、名誉顾问甲必丹林文灿、名誉顾问郑加祥、名誉顾问郑文波、名誉顾问张剑华、名誉顾问郑其雄、名誉顾问杨振立、名誉顾问吴宪盛、名誉顾问黄胜辉、名誉顾问陈修仁、名誉顾问蔡各贤、潘志远、林荣辉、玄音子师姐、李宗林、戴国豪、郭城佑和陈俊杰。
剪彩仪式完毕后，主礼嘉宾拿督吴添泉和亚庇篮总主席冯春发也上台轮流致词。
随着几道菜之后，主礼嘉宾也受邀见证，由主席冯春发颁发委任状予法律顾问、医药顾问和名誉顾问。
这时，亚庇篮总理事们也派发出“55 周年” 锁匙圈予在场的出席们，作为当晚最珍贵的纪念物品。
紧接着，就安排了出席的嘉宾们上台一起切蛋糕，象征了亚庇篮总五十五岁！
当晚乃由刘广艺担任司仪，也安排来自州内各地新秀载歌载舞。
The night commenced with Chairman Fung Chun Fatt leading 18 committee members in their oath of office. A well-known local businessman, Mr. Fung was re-elected for his third consecutive term as Chairman since first taking the helm in 2009. The new committee also welcomed five new members into its ranks.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony featured a distinguished guest list, including Phan Chee Yong (President of Sabah Basketball Association), Wong Yu Len (Permanent Honorary Chairman), Vincent Chok(Permanent Honorary Advisor), Datuk Dr. Yee Moh Chai (Legal Advisor), Chin Tek Ming (Legal Advisor)…along with numerous medical advisors, honorary advisors, and community leaders.
A Night of Commemoration
Following the speeches, Chairman Fung witnessed by Datuk Goh presented official appointment letters to the association’s Legal, Medical, and Honorary Advisors. To commemorate the event, all attendees were gifted a special “55th Anniversary” keychain as a souvenir.
The evening reached its peak when guests gathered on stage for a collective cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing 55 years of excellence for the KKBA. Hosted by Wesley Liew, the gala was further enlivened by song and dance performances from rising talents across the state, leaving the audience with a night to remember.
