迄今，亚庇篮总历经67年，摘下了112项冠军锦标，男子组52项冠军，女子组59项冠军，包括了沙巴杯20项(10男10女)、20岁以下全州赛1项(1女)、17岁以下全州赛27项(10男19女) 、15岁以下全州赛30项(16男14女) 、14岁以下全州赛1项(1男) 、婆罗洲杯30项(6男15女9宿将)。
肩负着组织亚庇县级代表队的重任，亚庇篮总历经了半个世纪的岁月里，迄今已在全州赛中拿下了81个冠军锦标，其中大部份是在九十年代末，迈入新世纪后才初尝胜绩，当中以全州17岁以下青年赛及全州15岁以下少童赛的表现最标青，成功累积了59个冠军，虽说往年成绩都是阳盛阴衰，但亚庇女将们近年来迎头赶上，迄今女子组累绩了59个冠军，男子组则有52个。
根据历史记载，亚庇篮总筹组北婆罗洲业余篮球总会（沙巴篮总前身）之后，1959年所主办的第6届亚庇杯篮球锦标赛，可谓是历史性的首项全州性赛事，有八支球队赴会，由斗湖队夺冠而去，翌年由亚庇再举办，亚庇终于凭着东道主的优势登上冠军宝座，乃为亚庇篮总创会以来的首份荣誉。至于1993年复办的沙巴杯，亚庇也要等到2001年才成功摘下男子组冠军。
To date, throughout its 67-year history, the Kota Kinabalu Basketball Association (KKBA) has captured a total of 112 championship titles—52 for the Men’s division and 59 for the Women’s division. These honors include Sabah Cup: 20 titles (10 Men, 10 Women),State U20 Championship: 1 title (1 Women), State U17 Championship: 27 titles (10 Men, 17 Women), State U15 Championship: 30 titles (16 Men, 14 Women), State U14 Championship: 1 title (1 Men) and Borneo Cup: 30 titles (6 Men, 15 Women, 9 Veterans)
Tasked with the heavy responsibility of organizing the representative teams for the Kota Kinabalu district, KKBA has secured 81 state-level titles over more than half a century. Most of these victories were achieved after entering the new millennium. The most outstanding performances have been in the State U17 and U15 categories, accumulating 59 titles. While the Men’s division dominated in earlier years, the Women’s teams have caught up rapidly, now leading the tally with 59 championships compared to the Men’s 52.
Historical records show that after KKBA helped form the North Borneo Amateur Basketball Association (the predecessor to the Sabah Basketball Association), the 6th Kota Kinabalu Cup in 1959 marked the first historic state-wide tournament. Eight teams participated, with Tawau taking the inaugural crown. The following year, KKBA utilized its home-court advantage to claim its first-ever championship title since its founding. As for the Sabah Cup, which was revived in 1993, KKBA had to wait until 2001 to secure its first Men’s title.
沙巴杯
1965年，第1 届沙巴杯在斗湖举行之后，亚庇男队在1968年凭着主场优势首夺锦标，但是在1983年复办的沙巴篮总杯，1989年开办沙巴杯分区赛以及后来复办的沙巴杯县际赛(1993年开办)，以亚庇篮总名誉参赛的男队始终与冠军无缘，直到2001年事逢亚庇篮总承办，才以东道主身份拿下冠军杯，相隔4年后，再由亚庇主办，这次亚庇男队成功摘下第二个冠军。第三个冠军是在2008年山打根举行的全州赛中获得。
直至2016年，亚庇男队终于写下了历史的新记录，缔造了新届沙巴杯有史以来的“ 六连冠”。从2011年起打遍全州无敌手，总共累积了9 项冠军。
至于亚庇娘子军们，是在去年(2009年) 拿笃举行的沙巴杯才圆了第一个冠军梦，但接着下来却毫不逊色，连续四年的四连冠，2014年再夺杯维持着三连冠的优势。
Sabah Cup
Following the 1st Sabah Cup in Tawau in 1965, the KK Men’s team first won the title in 1968 at home. However, through various iterations of the tournament—the 1983 Sabah Basketball Association Cup, the 1989 Sabah Cup Zonal, and the 1993 revived Inter-District Sabah Cup—the Men’s team remained title-less. It wasn’t until 2001, when KKBA hosted the event, that they finally reclaimed the trophy. They won again four years later as hosts, followed by a third victory in 2004 in Sandakan.
By 2016, the KK Men’s team set a new record by achieving an unprecedented six consecutive championships. Since 2011, they have remained undefeated across the state, accumulating a total of 9 titles.
The KK Women’s team realized their first championship dream in 2009 in Lahad Datu. Since then, they have been unstoppable, achieving a four-year winning streak and maintaining another three-year streak starting in 2014.
全州20岁以下青年赛
大马篮总于2013年开始推出了20岁以下的全国分区赛，沙巴篮总也制定了一项全州赛，乃由亚庇篮总负责承办，鼓励球会或俱乐部身份参赛。
亚庇女队在另两支强旅围攻下，最终成功脱颖亚庇近十年来所夺的冠军无数，包括成功断杯的全州赛挑战杯。 而出，摘下冠军，至于亚庇男队只能屈居亚军。
全州18岁(17岁)以下青年赛
尽管全州18岁以下赛是从1967年开办，亚庇男队始终与锦标擦身而过，前任主席卓权兴忆述，亚庇男队最早夺冠的机会是在1971年，但却因为对手取巧而只能屈居亚军，这份＂仇＂终于等到2002年斗湖举行的全州赛中，亚庇才成功击败了京那巴当岸夺冠，但好景不常，接着就没有交出佳绩，直到2009年才开称王，完成了三连冠的目标，2013年再度称霸。
反观，亚庇少女队早在1972年丹南举行的全州赛中登上冠军宝座，但是第二个冠军则是相隔卅一年后，才在古达的全州赛赢得，翌年以东道主身份又次夺冠，从2008年开始，亚庇女队尽露英姿，再也没有遇上真正的对手，成功创造历史性十六连冠的霸业！
值得一提，随着大马篮总于2013年修订了分龄赛制，全国赛和全州赛的青年赛皆改为17岁以下。
State U20 Youth Championship
In 2013, MABA introduced the National U20 Zonal Championship. Consequently, the Sabah Basketball Association established a state-level tournament hosted by KKBA, encouraging participation from clubs and associations.
The KK Girl’s team emerged victorious against two strong rivals to claim the crown, while the KK Boy’s team finished as runners-up.
State U18 (U17) Youth Championship
Although the State U18 tournament began in 1967, the KK Boy’s team repeatedly missed out on the title. Former Chairman Vincent Chok recalled that their earliest chance was in 1971, where they finished second due to the opponent’s gamesmanship. This “grudge” was finally settled in 2002 in Tawau when KK defeated Kinabatangan for the title. After a subsequent dry spell, they returned to the top in 2009, completing a three-year streak and dominating again in 2013.
In contrast, the KK Girls’ team climbed to the top as early as 1972 in Tenom. However, their second title came 31 years later in Kudat. Since 2008, the KK Girls’ team has shown absolute dominance, facing no real challengers and creating a historic 16-consecutive championship dynasty.
Note: Following MABA’s 2013 revision, the youth category was officially changed to U17.
全州16岁(15岁) 以下少童赛
配合全国赛而准备的十六岁全州赛，是于1992年开始主办，亚庇男队的第一份荣誉，是在1999年斗湖举行的第8 届赛事，在单循环赛制下一路斩将搴旗摘冠，晋入廿一世纪后，亚庇分别在2003年至2005年拿下冠军，直到2007年开始实现了六连冠，2013年败给了斗湖之后，隔年把这个老对手击败而再度称雄。
至于亚庇女队则迟至2007年斗亚兰举行的全州赛上才拿了第一个锦标，次年屈居季军，不过，从2009年起登顶，曾实现了称后六年无敌手。
与全州17岁以下青年赛一样，全国和全州的少童赛皆改为15岁以下。
全州14岁以下少童赛
同样的也是为了响应全国赛而主办的全州赛，从2003年起开始主办，分别在拿笃及山打根举行了两年，两届之后宣告停办。
亚庇男队成功拿下了首届冠军，隔年败给了拿笃而届亚军。
女队方面在首届拿下季军，隔年只能够摘下亚军而己。
State U16 (U15) Junior Championship
The State U16 tournament, established in 1992 to prepare for national competitions, saw the KK Boy’s team win its first honor in 1999 in Tawau. In the 21st century, they won from 2003 to 2005 and achieved a six-year winning streak starting in 2007. After a loss to Tawau in 2013, they reclaimed the throne the following year.
The KK Girls’ team won their first title in 2007 in Tuaran. After a third-place finish the following year, they returned to the top in 2009 and remained undefeated champions for six consecutive years.
Note: Similar to the U17 category, the junior national and state competitions were changed to U15.
State U14 Junior Championship
Organized in response to national-level tournaments, this competition was held for only two years (2003 and 2004) in Lahad Datu and Sandakan before being discontinued.
The KK Boy’s team won the inaugural title and finished second the following year.
The Girl’s team placed third in the first year and second in the next.
婆罗洲杯
为了促进砂拉越（美里），汶莱，纳闽与本州之间的篮运交流，四大球会从1999年起筹划了一项四角赛，每年轮流承办，亚庇男队是在2007年才成功棒杯，迄今已有6座冠军在手。
亚庇女队是从2008年开始冒起，迄今已经连续15届夺冠。
同样的，亚庇宿将队是从2011年开始称霸，迄今已经有9座冠军。
Borneo Cup
To promote basketball exchange between Sarawak (Miri), Brunei, Labuan, and Sabah, four major clubs launched this quadrilateral tournament in 1999, rotating hosting duties annually.
Men’s Team: First won in 2007; currently holds 6 titles.
Women’s Team: Rose to prominence in 2008 and has won for 15 consecutive years.
Veteran Team: Began their dominance in 2011 and currently holds 9 titles.
