若果2014 年的“ 全年大满贯” 是亚庇篮总的最高峰，2011 年则是奠基之年。
尤其经过数十年来的磨练，亚庇篮总勿论在财政运作、管理或球队表现皆进入佳境，随着冯春发于2009 年掌任主席之后，认真及努力的经营下，终于横扫了六项全州赛冠军，缔造了从未有过的“ 全州赛大满贯” 的辉煌记录。
If the “Grand Slam of the Year” of 2014 represented the pinnacle for the Kota Kinabalu Basketball Association (KKBA), then 2011 was the definitive foundation year.
After decades of refinement, KKBA reached a new level of excellence across financial operations, management, and team performance. Under the diligent leadership of Fung Choon Fatt, who took over as Chairman in 2009, the association’s earnest efforts culminated in a clean sweep of six state titles. This achievement established a glorious, unprecedented record: the “State Championship Grand Slam.”
Furthermore, 2011 stood out as the busiest year in the association’s history. Beyond organizing regular selection trials, KKBA hosted the State U18 Youth Championship and the 13th Borneo City Cup. While committee members were kept occupied from the start of the year until the very end, their hard work was ultimately rewarded with this prestigious honor.

U18 男三连冠女四连冠
由于沙巴篮总这一年处于过渡时期，九个属会召开会议通过，委托了亚庇承办第42 届18 岁以下青年赛，而裁定在8 月15 日至8 月21 日举行，共2011
有14 支男队及3 支女队报名参赛。
随着在自家门口主办是项全州赛，尤其亚庇男队寻求三连冠倍受压力，而且亚庇女队也争取四连冠的荣誉。
从一开赛，亚男队在C 组中初露锋芒，以93比44 击败拿笃、以85 比37 击败保佛、以97 比21击败古达，以正盟主身份杀入六强复赛，六强首役轻松以78 比49 擒下根地咬，第二役就遇上了来势汹汹的山打根，最终还是以76 比65 反败为胜。
在女子组只有三队的情况下，亚庇女队凭着强盛的实力以86 比27 击败兵南邦及73 比43 击败拿笃而封后。
U18 Boys’ Three-Peat and Girls’ Four-Peat
As the Sabah Basketball Association was in a transitional period that year, the nine affiliate members convened and officially entrusted KKBA with hosting the 42nd U18 Youth Championship. Held from August 15 to August 21, the tournament saw participation from 14 boys’ teams and 3 girls’ teams.
Hosting the tournament on home soil brought significant pressure, particularly as the KK Boys’ team was gunning for a three-peat, while the Girls’ team aimed for their fourth consecutive title.
From the opening whistle, the KK Boys dominated Group C, defeating Lahad Datu (93–44), Beaufort (85–37), and Kudat (97–21) to enter the quarterfinals as group leaders. They eased past Keningau (78–49) in their first quarterfinal match before facing a fierce challenge from Sandakan in the second, eventually coming from behind to secure a 76–65 victory.
In the girl’s group, which featured only three teams, the KK Girls showcased their overwhelming strength. They claimed the championship crown by defeating Penampang (86–27) and Lahad Datu (73–43).
U16 男五连冠 女三连冠
前提亚庇篮总受委托主办第42 届18 岁以下青年赛，而原本轮值的第19 届16 岁以下少童赛就改由邻会的兵南邦篮协来主办，时间订在11 月23 日至29 日。
对亚庇篮总来说，16 岁以下全州赛是较有把握的，亚庇男队在A 组的三战中，分别以63 比60 击败古达、118 比18 击败斗亚兰及72 比30 击败保佛。
在八强复赛中也没有遇到太大的威胁，则以83比33 击根地咬、78 比57 击败山打根、54 比38 击败京那巴当岸，而勇冲总决赛！
在决赛中与老对手的斗湖经过了一轮博斗之后，以81 比56 实现了五连冠！
相对的亚庇女队也一路斩将过关，在A 组三战以104 比15 胜山打根、83 比9 胜丹南、94 比14胜兵南邦，进入半决赛后，以65 比13 杀退哥打毛鲁都，在决赛中以56 比24 击败斗湖，落实了三连冠的目标。
U16 Boys’ Five-Peat and Girls’ Three-Peat
Since the Kota Kinabalu Basketball Association (KKBA) had been entrusted with hosting the 42nd U18 Youth Championship, the 19th U16 Junior Championship—which was originally KK’s turn to host—was moved to the neighboring Penampang Basketball Association. The tournament was scheduled for November 23 to 29.
The U16 State Championship was a category where KKBA felt particularly confident. In Group A, the KK Boys secured three consecutive wins, defeating Kudat (63–60), Tuaran (118–18), and Beaufort (72–30).
They faced little resistance in the quarterfinals, dispatching Keningau (83–33), Sandakan (78–57), and Kinabatangan (54–38) to charge into the grand final. In the title match, after a hard-fought battle against their perennial rivals, Tawau, they emerged victorious with a score of 81–56, achieving an impressive five-peat.
Meanwhile, the KK Girls cruised through their competition. In Group A, they dominated Sandakan (104–15), Tenom (83–9), and Penampang (94–14). After crushing Kota Marudu (65–13) in the semifinals, they defeated Tawau (56–24) in the final to successfully realize their goal of a three-peat.
一洗沙巴杯霉气
到了年尾的12 月9 日至15 日，在哥打毛鲁都举行的第20 届沙巴杯，也是亚庇能否大满贯的关键时刻，尤其亚庇男队自2008 年起两年没有尝过冠军滋味，至于要完成三连冠的历史性任务。
在初赛中，亚庇在A 组的表现相当不俗，以79比55 胜吧巴、以103 比37 胜仙本那、以88 比48胜实必丹、以70 比53 胜京那巴当岸而杀入半决赛。
在半决赛逢遇东道主哥打毛鲁都，也以67 比41 胜出，在决赛中遇上冠军热门山打根，在决赛的双雄之战，双方都无法抛开战手，直至最后几秒的拉锯战中，亚庇才64 比62 的两分微分胜出。
反观，亚庇女队在单环赛制下轻松过关，分别以86 比27 胜仙本那、以73 比19 胜斗湖、74 比61 胜根地咬，凭着三战全胜缔造了三连冠。
随着沙巴杯落幕后，亚庇终于实现了“ 全州赛大满贯” 之目标！
Shaking Off the “Sabah Cup” Slump
The 20th Sabah Cup, held in Kota Marudu from December 9 to 15, served as the final hurdle in KKBA’s quest for the Grand Slam. The KK Boys were under significant pressure; they hadn’t tasted championship glory since 2008 and were determined to complete this historic mission.
In the preliminary rounds, KK put on a stellar performance in Group A, defeating Papar (79–55), Semporna (103–37), Sipitang (88–48), and Kinabatangan (70–53) to advance to the semifinals.
After beating the hosts, Kota Marudu (67–41), in the semis, they faced the tournament favorites, Sandakan, in the final. This “clash of the titans” was a neck-and-neck struggle where neither side could pull away. It wasn’t until the final seconds of a tense seesaw battle that KK secured a narrow 64–62 victory.
In contrast, the KK Girls faced a smoother path in the round-robin format. They claimed the title with three straight wins over Semporna (86–27), Tawau (73–19), and Keningau (74–61), securing their own three-peat.
With the conclusion of the Sabah Cup, KKBA finally achieved its ultimate goal: the “State Championship Grand Slam!”
1999 久旱逢甘露
或许你不知道，亚庇篮总的冠军可追溯到七十年代初期（亚庇女队于1972 年拿下全州18 岁以下篮赛冠军），但之后却没听闻过亚庇有拿过全州赛冠军。
2002 苦等卅年的冠军
也许很多人忘记了2002 年干了什么，但是对亚庇篮总来说，这一年是大家等了卅多年，亚庇终于才有机会称霸全州18 岁以下男子组，那是多么漫长的岁月。
2014 全年大满贯
2014 年将永志在亚庇篮总的历史里，这一年我们拿下了全年所有冠军，即六项全州赛冠军和三项婆罗洲杯冠军，没有尝过任何的败绩。
2015 最佳体育组织奖
2015 年1 月28 日荣膺《沙巴最佳体育组织奖》，为本州篮坛缔造了历史性的最高荣誉。
